Hy,
I’m using YaCy on my Computer and the Crawler IO slows it down considerably.
I’d need a method to pause/resume the crawler without stoping/restarting yacy alltogether so I can use my machine normally while I’m doing work or something else.
So lets say I want to pause crawling daytime and let it run at nighttime while being able to use yacy as a local search engine all day long.
Is there a way to pause/resume the crawler?
Thanks,
Frank
Go to your “Administration” page -> Click on “Crawler Monitor” -> Click on the yellow small “||” (Pause Button) on the right of “Local Crawler”. This stops your crawling.
If you want the crawl running again, click on the green “>” (Play Button) right of “Local Crawler”!
That’s all
hello halogeno,
is it possible to record that action, so that we can schedule over “Administration” => “Process Scheduler”. So we can start at 17:00 o’clock and end at 06:00 o’clock.
kind regards
